The Mac App Store release is in preparation. This site previews the workspace; there is no public download or preorder yet. Contact support if you have a question before release.

PDF, image and everyday file tools work without an assistant-model download. Transcription needs a speech model. Optional local assistant and speaker features have their own downloads and need additional disk space and memory.

Document contents, audio, transcripts and local assistant conversations are processed on your Mac. Optional model downloads contact the model host and its delivery network. Those requests contain normal network information, such as your IP address, but do not include your files or conversations.

The planned version-one offer is a 30-day free trial followed by an optional one-time purchase. The trial does not renew or charge automatically. Version-one updates are included; future major-version upgrades may be separate purchases. Apple will display the final localized price before purchase.

Docavelle is built for Apple Silicon and macOS 26 or later. Local AI is optional. Model size, your hardware and the selected task affect memory use and processing speed.

Use Restore Purchases in the app’s purchase screen or purchase settings, with the Apple Account that made the original purchase. Apple may ask you to sign in. Restoring a purchase is separate from your local files and models.

The App Store edition uses macOS App Sandbox. Select the source or destination through the app’s open or save controls. Moved files, changed permissions and disconnected drives can require another selection. Saved folder access and enabled watches can be managed in Settings.

A portable transcript project includes its recording and editable captions. Anyone you share it with can access that included content. A plain transcript may instead refer to an external recording, which needs explicit relinking if it moves.

Settings includes an explicit selective copy from an old Folio support folder you choose. It preserves originals and does not overwrite different existing library files. Some external media may need relinking. Preferences, old licensing, watch activation and saved folder permissions are not transferred.

The App Store purchase screen includes privacy, notices, license rights and dependency-source controls. The source archive is bundled with the app and can be accessed without starting a trial or purchasing.
